Is the free tier really free forever?
Yes. The first 5 devices on every account are free, forever. No credit card, no trial clock, no expiring promotion. We want you to build, experiment, and ship with Admiral before you ever pay us a cent.
How does the "first 5 free" credit work?
Every customer, regardless of tier, gets 5 free devices credited against their bill. A customer with 100 devices on the Team tier pays for 95 devices. No pricing cliff at device 6, just a smooth ramp.
How do the graduated tiers work?
As your fleet grows, you automatically move into the next tier and every billable device is priced at that tier's rate. For example, 150 devices lands you in the Team tier. Your first 5 are free, so you pay for 145.
What happens when I cross a tier boundary?
You'll automatically roll into the next pricing tier on your next billing cycle. We'll never cut off your fleet mid-flight, and we'll email you ahead of any meaningful change in your bill.
Which currencies do you support?
Pricing is set in USD. We also display AUD on this page for convenience. Your invoice will be in the currency agreed at contract signing (USD by default, AUD available on request for ANZ customers).
Do enterprise customers get dedicated support?
Yes. Enterprise customers receive a private Slack channel with our engineering team, a named Technical Account Manager, and a direct escalation path to on-call engineering for Severity 1 incidents.

How is AirDetect priced?
AirDetect is usage-based. You pay $0.00002 per person, per minute of detected presence. A "person-minute" is one person detected as present for one minute. There is no free tier and no minimum commitment — you pay only for the presence you actually detect.
What does that work out to in plainer numbers?
A single signage screen seeing 500 people per hour, each present for about a minute, running 10 hours a day, costs roughly $3 per month. That works out to about $0.0012 per visitor-hour, or $0.02 per 1,000 visitor-minutes of presence. Use the estimator above to model your own sites.
How does this map to CPM for advertisers?
If you treat one minute of verified presence as one impression, AirDetect costs about $0.02 effective CPM (cost per 1,000 impressions). For context, typical digital out-of-home CPMs run $3–$10 — so presence-verified measurement with AirDetect is a fraction of a cent on the impression cost, while giving you real audience rather than estimates.
Why does dwell time affect my bill?
Because you're billed per person-minute, cost scales with how long people stay in range, not just how many pass by. A walk-by billboard (short dwell) is very cheap; a waiting room or lounge where people sit for a long time will register more person-minutes. The estimator above lets you tune average dwell to see the impact.
Does AirDetect track individual people?
No. We estimate and compute presence within the bounds of BLE privacy. We do not track individual device locations or identify individuals — AirDetect reports counts and dwell, never identity. Read more about our privacy approach.
Do I need new hardware for AirDetect?
No. AirDetect runs on the BLE radios already present in your AdmiralOS devices. If you already run a fleet with Admiral, you can enable AirDetect without deploying anything new.
